Welcome to Classroom Extra.
With this feature the New York Post hopes to provide our city's children
with "extra" tools for learning - many recommended by parents and teachers.
Sections like reading, history, math and science will be regular features and
we will be adding new sections over time. Most of these will be designed to
be used with a Classroom Extra lesson plan which you will find by clicking
on Lesson Plan in the menu bar.
We are also looking for tomorrow's reporters, today. Our Contributing
Editor's section is designed for you kids to write about the stories and
opinions that are important to them. Click on "Become a New York Post
Contributing Editor" for details.
All of us at the New York Post hope you'll find Classroom Extra helpful. We
would also like to hear from parents and education professionals on how we
can continue to improve this feature and make learning fun for our children.
