February 2000 2000-02-06 In light of a recent article about geek chicks which was posted on Freshmeat, I felt it was a good time to renew our call for volunteers. The current core Window Maker team is comprised of males, and there are many areas that could be filled (particularly by females). As an update to let the masses know that the Window Maker project is still going strong, 0.62.0 has been in the works and is nearing a release date. There will also be a new version of libPropList (0.9.5) that will be released which 0.62.0 will depend on. Prepare yourselves. I have recently moved the website development into CVS, and am seeking competent individuals (of any gender) who know HTML, PHP3, MySQL, or anything else useful. The project is also in need of more coders, documentation writers, various service maintainers, etc. If you think you are interested and are willing to devote some time, E-mail webmaster@windowmaker.org
