Writ seeks original submissions on any law-related topic for publication online. They should be sent to writsubmit@findlaw.com. Each submission should appear in the body of the e-mail; it may in addition be attached as a Microsoft Word file. Please include your e-mail address and daytime telephone number with your submission.
Submissions may range from serious commentary to legal humor. Submissions should be no shorter than 750 words and no longer than 1500. They should be written with both the legal community and the educated layperson in mind. Footnotes and endnotes are wholeheartedly discouraged.
