Previous experience with The Burglar who Painted like Mondrian introduced me to Lawrence Block's central character, Bernie Rhodenbarr, the Antiquarian Bookseller and Burglar. So when I found this paperback at a yard sale for 25 cents, I snapped it up like treasure.

This particular installment was the inspiration for a Warner Brothers movie with Whoopi Goldberg. It's punchy and quick and written by a fellow bibliophile, you'll enjoy it.
