- Portable Interactive Troubleshooter (POINTERTM)ARINCs POINTER system uses adaptive optimization and reasoning techniques with models developed in STAMP to provide on-line, interactive diagnosis of system faults. POINTER has been used as a manual troubleshooter, a diagnostic controller in automatic test equipment (ATE), and a diagnostic reasoner for aircraft built-in test (BIT).
