Trailblazer
(Software: Applet)
|
Trailblazer is a browsing assistant. Starting at a URL, it finds the hyperlinks exiting that URL, and displays the interconnectivity on an active map. You can continue to add to this map as far as you want, by telling Trailblazer to follow links from subsequent sites. Trailblazer also allows you to perform string searches (no booleans yet, though) on any of the mapped sites. Sorry, but for no obvious reason, Trailblazer doesn't show up on Macs. I'm working on that.

Image Selector
(Software: Applet)
|
This applet displays a horizontal list of scrollable and selectable images. The applet was written to demonstrate the functionality of the reusable ImageList class. The usage of an ImageList is similar to a standard listbox, but instead of text the item to be selected is an image. In the demo applet, when an image is selected, a popup window displaying the full image is shown. The source code of the applet is provided.

Menu Bars in your Applet
(Software: Applet)
|
Tired of not being able to have Menu Bars into your applets? Always forced to use a Frame window? Tired of other menu demos that just don't cut it? Try my MenuPanel class. It uses real menu objects and can work in your Java 1.1 Applet, Window, or any other Container. Looks great and works just like the MenuBar class. No 3rd party APIs needed!

Drag Drop Applet
(Software: Applet)
|
This applet will handle all your dragging and dropping needs. The panels you see on the right are fully configurable. You can add more or less panels and one, two, or one hundred images in each panel. Allow one drag form each panel or multiples. Check it out - you can only put one pair of pants on the figures, but you can put on multiple smiles. Take items off the figure by dragging them back into the panels on the right. Think of the possiblities: let your users build their car, their house, or anything else that can be assembled.
