Our scripts will automatically register your subscribers, provide access to protected areas and maintain your subscription site's .htpasswd files. This allows you, the webmaster, complete freedom from manually adding and removing subscribers. These scripts offer easy integration with your own current secured server payment process, iBill's Credit Card and Web900 services.

The Subscription Site Script Package Includes ...

• Subscription Site Registration Script (register.cgi) - Automates the subscription process providing detailed record keeping.
• Member Management Script (update.cgi) - Automatically removes expired subscribers using CRONTAB on your UNIX server
• Administrator's Management Script (htpasswd.cgi) - Allows webmasters to manually add, change, remove and display subscribers

Subscription Site Registration Script (register.cgi) This script automates the registration of subscribers to your site for a specific period of time. This script easily integrates with your current payment processing system and completes the registration to the protected areas of your site.

If you're using iBill's Credit Card or Web900 service, this script will accept the PIN Code submitted to you by the new customer. The register.cgi script matches the PIN Code against the caaaaaaa.txt (pincodes file) text file. If the customer's PIN Code is found in the pincode file, the script then 1) deletes that PIN Code from the file, 2) provides the customer access to the protected area of the site, 3) sends an email to both you, the webmaster, and the new subscriber with access instructions and then 4) logs the event in a logfile.

Below are working examples of how the register.cgi script works. Follow one of the demo links below and complete the registration forms to gain access to the demo "members" area.

Member Management Script (update.cgi) This script automatically updates your .htpasswd file by removing subscribers whose access has expired by using the CRONTAB command on your UNIX server. CRONTAB is a command that will allow automatic execution of the update.cgi script. You can specify how often to update your .htpasswd file. Additionally whenever a subscriber is removed from the .htpasswd file an automated renewal response notice is emailed offering them to return and subscribe again.

Administrator's Management Script (htpasswd.cgi) This script is for subscription site webmasters who need to manually make changes to the .htpasswd file. Click Here for Administrator's Script Demo which allows webmasters to Add, Change, Remove and Display subscribers.

Another feature of this script is that it allows you to view the server's log for accesses by a particular subscriber. This is important if you need to verify whether a particular subscriber has received their username / password and accessed the protected areas within your site.
