 DownloadGetting the sourceYou can get the lastest source here:xrally-1.0.pre1.tar.gz (442 kb) And you can get the binary packages, as well as older versions, at our ftp server: FTP server at linuxgames.com The xpm2xrally utility is here: xpm2xrally-1.0.tar.gz (2.2 kb) You can also get the map editor at sourceforge: XRally Map Editor (by Ken Brooks) Installation instructionsFirst untar the file with "tar -xvzf xrally-x.y.z.tar.gz"Then go to the xrally directory and run "./configure" If everything turns out ok, just compile it with "make" Optionally, you can install it by typing "make install" (as root) To run the program, just type "xrally" (If it doesn't works, try "./xrally") To install the extra levels, just untar them at your maps/ directory (usually /usr/local/share/xrally/maps) ControlsThe controls are fairly simple:In the menu screen, use the arrow keys to move the cursor and the ENTER key to select your level/map During the game, the arrow keys move the car around, the space key uses the smoke and the ESC key exits.
