The printer

The printer. Yes, indeed. I use a dot matrix printer that I did not get specifically for my Linux system but it seems to work fairly well. Of course, there are some sore spots like trying to print out web pages and things. I get alot of gibberish and postscript pages, it doesn't want to work with that either. But for simple text printing, you can't beat it.

But the only place I know of to check printer compatibility in Linux is at http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/pht/printer_list.cgi So go there and find out if the printer you want is supported.
