Housekeeping - PHP Diary Key

When writing my diary entries, I am going to use different fonts and text colors to identify various things. This page and bulleted key below explains what those fonts and colors will be. Since this is a work-in-progress I will likely add things to this page, so you might want to check back.

basic text diary entries will look like this (Arial font)
code will look like this (Courier font)
reference - the reference material that I am using, either the URL or physical location where to get it
(mirror) - another place you can obtain the same resource, if the first link I give you doesn't work
string date(string format, int [timestamp] ); <-- default font used for cut and paste from the PHP manual
Date command - PHP function names are bolded in the code and when I refer to them in my diary text
"Inserting Dates & Time" - titles I give (probably after the fact) to my diary entries
12/17/99 - the diary date
