pg_cmdTuples

pg_cmdTuples -- Retourne le nombre de tuples affectés.

Description

int pg_cmdtuples (int result_id)

pg_cmdTuples() retourne le nombre de tuples (instances) affectés par les requêtes INSERT, UPDATE, et DELETE. Si aucun tuple n'a été affecté, la fonction retournera 0.

Exemple 1. pg_cmdtuples

$cmdtuples = pg_cmdtuples($result);
echo $cmdtuples . " <- tuples modifiés.";

If for some reason the function is not able to determine the number of affected rows, it will still return 0 rows affected regardless if any tupples were changed.
