Barry was an original founder of PWI technologies in 1990. PWI was a natural offshoot of Barry’s wide-ranging experience in sales, marketing and management for the high-tech industry. Barry holds degrees in Architecture from the University of Washington and an MBA from Seattle University. He worked as an engineer with Boeing for five years, then joined a high-tech division of General Electric that focused on engineering and industrial automation products. Over a nine-year period, Barry transitioned from technical roles to become sales manager for the Northwest Region, meeting sales goals every year for one of General Electric’s top sales regions.

Gary is a CPA with a diverse background in finance and small business management. He graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration, then worked as a staff accountant for a major beverage company and as a tax specialist with a large Seattle-based bank. An additional five years working for a certified public accounting firm gave him a wide range of experience in auditing, accounting, tax compliance and general business consulting. He then signed on as CFO for a small electronics manufacturing company. His responsibilities grew beyond finance and accounting, to include general management with emphasis on sales, marketing, human resources and product development.
