Well, I finally decided to make this about section thing. My first question is, why the heck are you reading this anyways? Heheh. As you can see, I'm a 19 year old junior in EE at the Univ. of Wash. My favorite thing to do is hang out with my awesome girlfriend. Here is a picture of me and the gf, Angela:

I am the taller one on the right. Yes, we are on the beach, and yes, we do have lifeguarding clothes on because I absolutely love the water and the summer and I think that I was born to play water polo. I met Angela on the beach, she was my boss (muhahaha). I also love to swim (competitively also), but my favorite non-competitive activity is boogieboarding. I got hooked when I was in Hawaii one summer for a water polo tourney. I quit swimming after a semi-successful high school career (we were 42-0 and two-time Wash. state champs ; ) and decided to just screw around and do school. The internet addiction hit fast and hard in Sept. 97, when I moved into the dorms to start college.

My computer experience stems back to an Atari 2800 (?) that I could program basic on. I think that when I was about 6 I programmed the game TRON all in basic. Yeah. Nerd. I know. The computer thing was dropped for a while though, until I got a state-of-the-art i386 DX/25 with an 80 meg HD! I was incredibly fly because Life or Death 2 (anyone know where to get that one either?) would fly on my machine. 256 colors baby! The 2400 baud modem was incredibly overused as well, I was a member of many a BBS, and also did some hacking. It was MUCH easier back then.

I took over Riva Extreme on Jan. 30th, 1999. I hadn't frequented the site all that much, but I hadn't frequented many Riva sites all that much lately -- my previous squeeze, Rivazone, never updated any more and it kinda pissed me off. I was (and still am) a loyal reader of theirs since day one, seriously. Back in January of 98 I think. My favorite non-RE Riva site has to be Planet Riva right now, they are nice guys and the site design truly kicks some. I'll think of more later, and hopefully I can get my .plan perl script working.

Yeah, I kinda quit! If I knew I Dimension 3D was going to disband and I'd be able to get my own domain after all, I might have tried sticking with it.

I ran by RIVA Extreme by Cameron Mirza sometime in August and found he was giving the site up to someone else. So, I thought hey, this might be an opportunity -- alot easier than starting a game site up from scratch. So I looked at the other D3D affiliates and was like, Nah, these sites don't have much sense of style, I can do better design than they have. So I finally got the nod to do the site and launched it September 19th '98 I believe, owning an Elsa Riva 128 and having just went and bought an STB Velocity 4400 TNT. I originally decided to quit RE since I couldn't get any help, I couldn't get the domain (since I was part of Dimension 3D), and thus I couldn't grow the site like I needed to. I also was getting some killer ideas for fictions at the time, so I needed to seize the moment and totally become a writer. I guess I'll kind of at least try to watch over the new Riva Extreme with Greg and Sean and help out once in a while.

I got to borrow a digital camera, so here's a pic of me in my room

Well the only picture I could find was this old one of me when I was like 17, this was like my senior prom. Out of respect for my date I edited out anything that would be too revealing, I mean it was on a dare. By the way I'm the stud on the left, er my left, your right, ya your right

Well my first computer was a fickin' old Tandy, it basically sucked all around, but I still have all the games; if you want Rampage, Bad Dudes, or Ikara Warriors just say so. Actually now that I think about I don't even know if all of 'em are on 3 1/4. Before I had the Tandy, though, I had a sweet Colleco(or how ever you spell it); I could really woop some on Gorf, DK jr., and Smurfs. Even before then I was a video game freak, and will probably always be. I really can't stay away from the arcade for very long, my first real job was even at an arcade(where I quickly learned how to break into a arcade game). If you ever want to hear some crazy stories about working there just ask.

I may as well tell ya about myself. I played soccer for probably half my life, and I wish I still played. I'm an Eagle Scout, and love the outdoors; especially backpacking(if anyone gets a chance to go backpacking at Philmont scout ranch don't pass it up). You could even say I'm a world traveler, I went on a trip with my high school jazz band through Europe. It was pretty sweet, especially since I went as the PA(electronics) guy, and everything got fried the first concert. I had nothing to do but check out all the European chicks, and cruize through the redlight district in Amsterdamn. And lets just say the most embarresing moment in my life happened while playing volleyball in Belguim at a topless beach.

Now I have to give a shout out to all my hicktown homey's in Battle Ground, WA. If any of you guys live in the Washington, Oregon area and have good lookin sisters that are 18 or older, or if your real young and have a hot single mom and are lookin for a cool step dad, you know just like email me.

P.S.: I'm jokin on that step dad thing, but really if your mom is like hot and doesn't want to be tied down, just like email me.
P.P.S.: Well actually if she likes to be, you know, tied down that's cool though.
P.P.P.S.: Here's a pic of me working at the Quake3 bus tour....damn, I am just such a p1mp. If you zoom in enough you can see the pixel that is my head.
