Darkland is a story about a world enshrouded in darkness. There is no sun, no moon, not even the stars can penatrate the blackness of the sky. It is as thought night has swallowed the day, and the world lives in the instant of midnight. What light exists is shed from the glow of hot magma that seeps through many places in the rocky land.
