We maintain a thousand pages and several thousand links,
and simply cannot honor email requests for links.
The forms in
The Library are the only route that we will
consider.
Please do not ask for links from any other part of
The WDVL.
We are extremely selective about those and do not want our
objectivity compromised in order to return favors or make your day.
To submit your site for our consideration:
- Please link to us.
- Visit The Library.
- Survey the categories and click on the most appropriate one.
- At the bottom of each category page will be a form to submit a site; scroll down the page until you see the form.
- Read these instructions CAREFULLY before filling it in.
- Please reciprocate the link you are asking for.
- Only submit a URL to ONE category, please (or two if you really must).
- URLs must point directly to the page described and must not contain any CGI redirection or tracking info.
- Are you in the most appropriate category? Take some care over this. We'll re-categorise those that are in some relevant category, if we think there's a better one - and we'll delete those that are in totally inappropriate categories.
- Commercial companies and consultants DO NOT belong under 'Resumes'!
- Special rules for 'Resumes':
- The 'Title' MUST BE your name 'Last_Name, First_Name'
- The URL may only be your resume or C.V.
- You may be listed in only 1 (one) geographical area.
- DO NOT ENTER MORE THAN 480 characters in the description.
- Comments must not contain words in all capital letters.
- Do not include HTML tags embedded in your comments.
- Please refrain from using marketing hype.
- Titles must be given exactly as they appear on the site; no hype!
- Keyword only comments will not be accepted. Descriptions should be taken from your site.
- Do not use this form to submit changes - use the Update form.
- DO NOT enter funny characters to get to the top of the list - it will be sorted by reverse alphabetic order every other time.
- DO NOT SUBMIT LINKS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH WEB DEVELOPMENT - see the rest of this site if you don't know what that means.
- Acceptance of any submission does not constitute endorsement by The WDVL, and will not obligate us to any terms or conditions. Note especially that entries may be removed at any time without warning or explanation.
