Open the Webshots software by double clicking on the Webshots icon on your desktop.

Click on Collections, Make New. Type in a name for your collection.

Now you need to add pictures to your collection.
You must first have the pictures in one of the many file formats that Webshots supports. Some examples include: .jpg and .bmp. To get a picture in that format it must be scanned that way. Take your photos or slides to your local Kinko's (or similar) and have them scanned and put on a disk.
Insert the disk into the proper drive and open the Webshots software. With your mouse, select in which collection you would like to add the pictures.
Click on Pictures, Add New. Locate the file(s) and select the File Type. If it was put on a 3.5 inch disk, it is probably in your a: drive. Select the file(s) and they will appear in a collection.
