Hi mates,

my proposal for this iteration is:

Infrastructure

  • #479 establish a physical environment to test Bricks/Sensors in a fast way. Current model is not fast. I mix bricks for personal projects and testing purposes. Besides, it is necessary to add the complexity of different Debian distros. @jabrena

JVM

  • #466 Usage of CI infrastructure from AdoptOpenJDK to generate Builds OpenJDK for EV3. @JakubVanek @jabrena
  • #489 Try to compile again OpenJDK 10 with the Docker image FROM debian:8.9 for Debian Jessie support @JakubVanek

Internal Refactoring

New features

Performance

Documentation

Communication

  • #202 To Add articles about the usage of the project. @jabrena

Possible goals:
If in this iteration, if we could have OpenJDK 10 for Debian Jessie and run the process on AdoptOpenJDK it could be amazing. Besides, it could be pretty positive to have the main library with a unique solution to run on both distros. Later we could review how to upgrade the library with Modern concepts like some users has communicated in previous issues. @jweijers

In this iteration, we should have CI for OpenJDK and a Preliminar Testing Lab to improve the release process.

After this iteration, it is necessary to continue with the ROS support for SLAM.

Juan Antonio
