The upcoming GlassFish V2 release builds upon the quality and feature-rich GlassFish V1 UR1 to provide higher value add features for the enterprise. GlassFish V2 features clustering, in-memory replication, more improvements to the Grizzly-based HTTP engine, enhanced administrative functionality, improved self management capabilities, and more.

GlassFish V2 is currently in advanced stage of development and continues our successful open source model.

This technology preview allows you to experiment with a very early version of the GlassFish V3 app server. Note: This software is feature-incomplete, has undergone no formal testing, and is not suitable for production deployments. Even so, you might find it interesting to experiment with this code to experience the highly modular and lightweight approach we are taking in V3.
