About WaveTools:
WaveTools consists of 6 small programs origianlly written by Bernhard Oemer for manipulating mono WAV Files. BeOS port done by Shayne White.
The apps are:
winf Displays header information of wave-files and optionally
also file statistics.
wcat Concatenates several wave-files (*.wav) and performs
interpolating conversions of sample rates and sample
depths if necessary.
wcut Cuts a section out of a wave-file.
wflt Filter: Performs several transformations on wave-files.
(high/low/band-pass, mean value filter)
wfct Function Generator: Generates wave-files with several
functions (sinus, rectangular, triangular, saw-tooth,
noise, impulse)
wmix Mixes several wave-files (add or modulate).

I didn't port two additional apps, wplot and wview.

I didn't have to make many changes to get these tools to compile on BeOS. Just some minor changes to the makefile. As with the original source by Bernhard Oemer, this package is under the GPL license.
Anyway, since there currently are not a lot of really good audio editing tools for BeOS, these small utils may be useful to someone.
