| FGP Version: |
 |
 |
| |
This is the same as the normal FreeCraft, with the exception that it comes with a copy of the Free Graphics Project, so a real Warcraft][ is not needed. If you would rather use the REAL Warcraft][ graphics from your Warcraft CD, get the standard version of FreeCraft.

32bpp works!
This release brought to you by:
the letter A (for Alan, the guy that gave me the new vidcard)
the number 32 (the bit depth supported now)
and the band "Five O'Clock People" (www.fiveoclockpeople.com, because they're just so awsome, besides, everyone loves Drew Grow)

That annoying unit movement bug has been corrected, it is HIGHLY recommended you upgrade. (i.e. the game is now properly playable)

This version contains a few bug fixes, and has sound included in the download now. Nothing "major" has changed, this is only released to clear up a few bugs. If you already have FreeCraft FGP working properly and running with sound, you don't really need this.

This is the initial release of FreeCraft for BeOS -WITH- the FGP included.
Doh! I forgot to include the sounds in this archive the first time, so either you can grab this again (prolly not a good idea, cuz it *IS* big.) or grab http://www.fourtytwo.de/freecraft/scraft-0.01.zip.zip (yes, two .zip's) and install that into what you have.

| Warcraft2 CD Version: |
 |
 |
| |
This is the normal FreeCraft instalation for use on BeOS, to use this you will need an original Warcraft][ CD or access to the data files from a previous Warcraft Install. If you don't have one of these things, you probably want the FGP Version of FreeCraft.

This version contains a new data installer with a much nicer interface, it is also able to autodetect and install from IDE or SCSI cdroms, with either the DOS, DOS Expansion, DOS/Mac, or DOS/Mac Expansion cds as well as from a warcraft][ install on the hard disk. This should work for EVERYONE now. ... 32bpp is still broken, use 16bpp, and if you see voidref on EFNet, tell him he's the coolest guy you know, he mailed me my new graphics card today, and i'll fix 32bpp as soon as i get it. =)

This binary works with the Mac/DOS multisession cds now, and has a few minor bug fixes as well. If you havn't been able to install from your CD yet, this is the version for *YOU*! *note: 32bpp is still dead, use 16bpp if you have graphics problems*

Directories are no longer hard coded, so it can run from any directory.
PLEASE! let me know how this runs on your system. I really need to know what problems there are. Everything works perfectly on my machine, but there seems to be a problem with SDL on 32bit displays. If you encounter graphics errors, change to 16 bit colors and try again. So, if this works, or even if it dosn't, e-mail me and let me know. The sooner people tell me what needs to be fixed, the sooner i'll have the problems worked out. Don't just assume someone else already mentioned the bug.
