About FreeCraft:
FreeCraft is a WarCraft][ clone for BeOS/Linux/Win32.
These binary distributions require either a WarCraft][ CD or a copy of the Free Graphics Project (included in the FGP version). You will also need libz.so, libpng.so (not the .a that come with BeOS), and libSDL-1.1.4 or higher installed.

Variation description:
This is the same as the normal FreeCraft, with the exception that it comes with a copy of the Free Graphics Project, so a real Warcraft][ is not needed. If you would rather use the REAL Warcraft][ graphics from your Warcraft CD, get the standard version of FreeCraft.
Details about this version:
That annoying unit movement bug has been corrected, it is HIGHLY recommended you upgrade. (i.e. the game is now properly playable)

Variation description:
This is the normal FreeCraft instalation for use on BeOS, to use this you will need an original Warcraft][ CD or access to the data files from a previous Warcraft Install. If you don't have one of these things, you probably want the FGP Version of FreeCraft.
Details about this version:
This version contains a new data installer with a much nicer interface, it is also able to autodetect and install from IDE or SCSI cdroms, with either the DOS, DOS Expansion, DOS/Mac, or DOS/Mac Expansion cds as well as from a warcraft][ install on the hard disk. This should work for EVERYONE now. ... 32bpp is still broken, use 16bpp, and if you see voidref on EFNet, tell him he's the coolest guy you know, he mailed me my new graphics card today, and i'll fix 32bpp as soon as i get it. =)
