Poll

What do you think of the new site design?
I think I'm in love...
Not bad, not bad at all
I liked the old one better.
I didn't think it was possible to be that hideous.
What new design?

Whoops - Updated by MikeV

Well, the poll is fixed now. Thanks to all who pointed it out to me (Brian Malkowski Jr and OREOSRUS). It seems when I moved the site I forgot to change the poll links, etc. to point to the new address, and it therefore was looking for the old pages. Should be fixed now. Remember, if you find any errors e-mail me them!

Welcome to the new design, and did someone say Death Race 3000? - Updated by Dukester

A CWA conversation sparked this. Yes it's true, and here's an old news article from Mr.ShowbizNews from July 12th 1999:

"Tom Cruise may be remaking the campy 1975 cult hit Death Race 2000, in which David Carradine took part in a car race where points were racked up by mowing down pedestrians.

The revamped film would likely be titled Death Race 3000, and would be helmed by Mortal Kombat and Event Horizon director Paul Anderson. J.F. Lawton, the pen behind such disparate projects as Pretty Woman and Under Siege, is set to script."

If you wanna look for stuff on the internet, use http://mamma.com which combines all the major search engines together. Yahoo, AltaVista, Excite, Lycos, 4anything, Infoseek, FindWhat, AllTheWeb and Webcrawler all in one!

Argh - Updated by MikeV

Well, today has been a sh*tty day. To start the day off, about 12:30AM I got disconnected from my ISP and couldn't get back on. No biggy, I will connect when I wake up. I wake up, still no dice. What the hell. I turn on the TV. Turns out, a fire downtown (downtown Rochester) last night at 12:30AM burnt through 96 fiber optic cables, 29 of which belonged to my ISP. Not only could I not get on the internet, but I couldn't use any ATM's or long distance as those were all burnt. By 1:30PM I finally got on. Then, at about 7 just as I was finalizing the upload, well, what do you know, my monitor dies. The green and blue tubes died, leaving nothing but a nice red. So here I am on a lonaer monitor trying to dig up a few hundered bucks for a new one. Life sucks. Maybe tomorrow we will switch to a new design. G'nite all.

Speak Now Or Forever Hold Your Peace - Updated by MikeV

Well, tomorrow is the big day. I will be changing the site over to the new design. Hopefully this will go smothly, but if not I hope that the downtime it causes is minimal. The new design can be found at http://www.carpocalypse.com/ . If you can find any reason why we shouldn't switch over tomorrow, e-mail me ASAP at mikev@telefragged.com and explain why or forever hold your peace.
