Jets' Parcells retires; Pats' Carroll, Pack's Rhodes fired

The Tuna is going fishing, and so are a couple of his NFL coaching buddies. Bill Parcells resigned Monday as coach of the New York Jets. He will be succeeded by assistant Bill Belichick. That followed news that Packers coach Ray Rhodes and his entire staff had been fired in Green Bay. And Patriots coach Pete Carroll is also out of a job, getting his pink slip Monday morning from owner Bob Kraft in the wake of New England's 2-6 second-half slide.
