WOO HOO! 5 more days till my birthday! I got to see the movie "Three Kings" last night and I really liked it. It was alittle more graphic then it should have been, but overall it was a decent flick. Anyways, back to work...

October 10th, 1999 - 11:38pm

Why am I here at the office still, this late, on a Sunday? Welp, I guess
not having a special 'someone' to return home to might be one reason ;)p.

Well, I haven't updated this thing in a very long time, so I thought I'd
put something here to see if this still works, and shed what little news
I can about what's goin' down here at da casa de 2015.

We've finally moved into our office space now (actually, we've been here
for over a month :). To reveal a little company blurb, we were working
out of a house for the entire first project (similar to another great
company I know of ;)p. So we're actually moving up now. Plus we've just
purchased a bunch of cubes for our offices, getting them in here Monday, so
now we're REALLY getting in the professional swing of things (but don't let
that fool ya, we're still ab-normal :).

The current project we're working on is moving along. We've just recently
gotten a few really kewl things working out of the design doc, and had a
chance to tinker with them, and their a blast :). I really wish I could
say what we're working on now, but I am under strict orders not to, hence
I'd be cut in half and thrown into the river (not a good way to end my life
I'd say :).

One important note is that we're REALLY looking for some good level
designers, so check out our web site www.2015.com to see how to apply.
We've got some really kewl stuff we're working on, and more projects lining
up, so we're really starting to grow now.

On a more personal blurb, I have to say goodbye to the last of the
great japanese import sports cars......the Mitsubishi 3000GT. First the
Nissan 300ZX, then the Mazda RX-7, then the Toyota Supra, now the 3000's.
It's amazing what people are driving out there now-a-days, it's becoming
all SUV's and minivans. EEESSSHHHHHH, talk about a scary place, imagine
nothing but those all over the roads.......traffic would be filled with
people that drive way to agressive thinking they can go off-roading and
that they're extra safe in this supposed 'tough', big vehicle, along next
to people that drive either waaaaayyyy too slow, or think that this big
monstrosity can handle like a normal car so they try to keep up with us
sports cars. All I now is that these are two more types of vehicles to
block more of my view in traffic because of their size, they cost way more
than the average car, offer less protection, and because of this cause my
insurance rates to go up. Ooo well, at least I can always out drive them
;)p

Also finished System Shock2. Being an avid fan of the original, I must say
that they've done a really impressive job with the 2nd. It's not as good
as the original, but it's close, and good sequel. There are a few quirks
with it though, one of my biggest being the fact that your players bounding
box is sooo damn BIG. Things that look like they fly over yer shoulder
still hit you at times. That and a few other quirks, but they are
overlookable. If ya dug the original, then definately get the sequel. And
if yer looking for a good immersive game, I'd recommend this one.

Welp, that's enough of that, thanks once again for reading my little bit
of web space. Definately will provide more and better updates once we
can announce what it is we're working on, which will hopefully be in a few
months (no guarantee's though ;)p.

-'do you ever have second thoughts?'
-'when do I ever have first thoughts?!?!'
