A visitor discovered another source for buying Star Control! The local "Office Depot" store had the "Science Fiction" game-pak. It contained Star Control 1 and 2 as well as Star Crusader and a host of other games. It even had the Star Control 2 deluxe map of hyperspace in it! I have also seen Star Control 2 packaged with other classic SPACE games such as Master of Orion in a value pack. Finally, ASK YOUR LOCAL SOFTWARE STORE to order the games for you if they can! I have a friend in the Netherlands who was able to get all three games on CD-ROM via his local software shop. He asked if the store could find and special order the games, and they could! Another friend that lives in Edmonton and surrounding area -in Alberta, Canada, has seen StarControl 2 at Safeway (not sure if they have those everywhere, it's a Grocery store) it "was" $10 Cnd. I have had a WONDERFUL experience with Ebay. This is a great service and when I am looking for anything old, I look here first. Anything collectible can be found here too. I have won bids on about 10 items since I got on Ebay, and I have received perfectly every single item. If you don't want to use a credit card over the net, then try here! Many people take money orders, but I even payed for my 3DO system with a COD (cash on delivery). Some will even take checks. When bidding, just make sure the seller has a good reputation. This is where I found my original boxed version of SC 1, SC 2, and SC 2 for the 3DO video game system. So, click here, type in "star control" and "3do" and look for the the 3DO version and the 3DO System.

Or, you can find ANY of the three games for the PC. Try Ebay from time to time and check the listings by searching for "Star Control" to find the 3 games. There is almost ALWAYS a listing for some version of SC2, whether on PC CD-ROM or the 3DO.
