Chris Porter says he didn't know he was dealing with an agent. Tom Hauck/Allsport

Rush to judgment?

The case of JaRon Rush proves that the NCAA can be reasonable. Rush appealed his 29-game suspension for accepting cash from an AAU coach while in high school, and will be back on the court Saturday. Chris Porter hopes the NCAA will smile on him, too; but he may not be as fortunate. The Auburn senior has admitted that he took $2,500 from a sports agent. Though he says he will pay it back, his college career could be over.
