SGI OpenGL On-Going Programming Courses
- The OpenGL Programming 1 course helps application programmers master graphics programming using OpenGL. Students learn to view and model in 3D, and to create animated, wire frame and solid geometry, under interactive control from input devices. Students will add lighting and other effects to increase realism.
OpenGL SIGGRAPH & Game Developer Conference Courses
These courses demonstrate sophisticated and novel computer graphics programming techniques. The techniques are implemented in C using the OpenGL library. By explaining the concepts and demonstrating the techniques required to generate images of greater realism and utility, the courses helps developers achieve two goals: they gain a deeper insight into OpenGL functionality and computer graphics concepts, while expanding their "toolbox" of useful OpenGL techniques.
SGI OpenGL Programming Kitchen/Lab
In October and November of 1997, Silicon Graphics, 3DLabs, and Texas Instruments presented a series of lectures and programming labs to game developers working principally on Microsoft Windows platforms. These lectured discussed basic techniques fro improving performance and visual realism. The following pages provide the presentations from those lectures.
