| SilverScreen FAQ (Version 1.4) | |
|
|
Customer: I purchased SilverScreen and received a registration code, but I never received any software. I have looked all over the Web and cannot find a place to download the full version of the software.
Sensei: The demo version and the full version of the software are contained in the same file. Enter your name and registration code in the demo (the registration dialog box is accessed from the Options menu) and the full version will be activated. |

Customer: I have already purchased SilverScreen and was wondering how to upgrade to version 1.4? Do I need to register again? Also I don't want to lose my existing data when installing the new demo version.
Sensei: Anyone who has purchased SilverScreen 1.0 (or later version) is eligible for free upgrades to SilverScreen 1.x. Simply download SilverScreen 1.4 from any Web site and load this onto your Palm. All of your existing data will be preserved including registration information. If you have already paid, nothing will change; you will not lose your current registration. |

Customer: I own a Palm Vx and have noticed a decrease in performance from version 1.2 to 1.3. Has anything been done to remedy this?
Sensei: Version 1.4 is the fastest performing SilverScreen to date. It may, in fact, be faster than most (if not all) one-bit launchers on the market. It also corrects a bug unique to the Palm Vx that made the scroll bar inoperative under certain conditions. |

Customer: I own a Palm VII. Isn't SilverScreen supposed to be compatible with Palm
VII's?
Sensei: On February 22, 2000 Palm, Inc. began shipping Palm VII's with a new operating system, OS 3.5.2. Unfortunately this OS has problems displaying certain grayscale images. PocketSensei is working with Palm to try and resolve these issues. Older Palm VII's with OS 3.2 are not affected. |

Customer: Where can I get new themes and is there any way to edit icons?
Sensei: Tantalizing new themes and icons are available in the Theme Archive. Stay tuned as more are under development! We do not yet offer an icon editor for general use, but if you are a software developer using Code Warrior Constructor you may include two bit multibit icons (OS 3.1.1 style) in your applications and they will be honored and displayed by SilverScreen. |
