Super Smash Brothers

Super Smash Brothers, developed by Hal labs, is an incredible fighting hybrid for the Nintendo64 console. The objective of the game is knock your opponent(s) off the edge of a fighting platform. The game features four-player simultaneous action, and twelve characters, four of which are hidden. The game includes many pokémon, two of which are selectable. The selectable pokémon are Pikachu, and the hidden Jigglypuff. On Pikachu's level, Saffron City, different pokémon fly in the background and pop out of an elevator. The eight main characters that are not hidden are Mario, Donkey Kong, Samus, Link, Pikachu, Kirby, Fox, and Yoshi. The four hidden characters are Ness, Captain Falcon, Luigi, and Jigglypuff.

The game features nine levels, one of which is hidden. The game also features a large amount of items which can be used during battles. Such items include everything ranging from pokéballs and baseball bats, to swords and fireflowers. After throwing a pokéball, one of many random pokémon will appear and aid whoever threw the pokéball in battle. Such pokémon include Onix, Charizard, Blastoise, Snorlax, and Beedrills. On occasion, a Chansey might appear, throwing items concealed in eggs.

I have found this game to be extremely enjoyable, and have been enjoying it since its release in Japan. This game provides hours of fun for anybody who enjoys multiplayer gaming, and has a tremendous replay value.
