From Email:
- Replace the background noise (AMB files) of the Feds and Klinks with music. For the Feds I have a memorable selection from "Amok Time" and the Borg theme from "ST: FC," when you feel like carvin' up some cubes :), so you have 2
options for the Feds. I have replaced the background sound for the Klinks
with the Klingon theme from ST:TMP, goes especially well with 3 D7s! Remember
you must turn off the GAME music so you it doesn't interfere with the new
music.
- Adds some nifty sound effects for those that enjoy playing as the Borg. It includes a red alert sound that says "We are the Borg, you will be
assimilated, resistance is futile" and 2 backgound sounds (I like to give
people options) so you can truly feel like you're part of the collective. I
named these files for GORN ships, but you can always re-name them if you put
your Borg ships in another SFC race.
- Replaces some of the lame-o beeps and whirs that come with SFC with TNG-style beeps and whirs.

From Email: I have made some recordings of the male computer voice from Star Trek The Motion Picture as well as various other bits from Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan. I think they turned out pretty cool.

From Email: Later I will work on a multiple message speech randomize program to add a varied unpredictable variety to events in game. It is important to keep these three files together when downloaded since they do interact in a unique way to get that nice polished sound coming together.

From Email: Adds more speech and the crew talks back! This one is the second of total of three all together with the first one made a few weeks ago. The three speech.zip files comprise the finished product to date. Later I am working on a sound randomizer to add even more messages instead of hearing the same one for a given event. All together there is speech, speech2, and speech3.zip files.

From Email: The atttach zip file to this e-mail has the original computer voice speech added to other modified files to really give SFC that exciting realistic sound/speech experience. The real TOS computer voice speech combines with other modified files in a logical random way that will sound like a real battle right off television! It sounds best at a slower speed, but not a must. Multiple sounds will fade in/out to match speed of game quit nicely.

From Email: Here I have a couple of replacement sound effects for SFC. They include a new phaser 1 (TNG-ish, from newships soundpack), phaser 2(from Voyager), phaser
4(from First Contact, this is the best of all the sounds), transporter (from Voyager), 2 photon sounds(one from ST TMP and one from TNG's Encounter at Farpoint), missile firing (newships soundpack), and finally a bridge sound from the TOS to replace the soft rumble of the engines in the background.

From Hello.doc: Hello! Try these sound files in replacement of the ones in your assets/sounds folder. Remember to make back-ups of the originals in another folder in case you want to switch back!! This is for TOS fans, as at the moment, but I am working on other options!

From Email: These are definitely NOT cheap remixed sounds from the series/movies. They are reworks of some sounds in the game, a new photon/probe sound, heavily (!) remixed disrupor and plasma sounds. The people I've given them to say they can't stand to play the game without them now, so I guess that's a sign?
