    Addon/New Sound Effects

      File Size Author
      Reign1701A's Sound Pack 4.6Mb Reign1701A

      From Email:
      1. Replace the background noise (AMB files) of the Feds and Klinks with music. For the Feds I have a memorable selection from "Amok Time" and the Borg theme from "ST: FC," when you feel like carvin' up some cubes :), so you have 2 options for the Feds. I have replaced the background sound for the Klinks with the Klingon theme from ST:TMP, goes especially well with 3 D7s! Remember you must turn off the GAME music so you it doesn't interfere with the new music.
      2. Adds some nifty sound effects for those that enjoy playing as the Borg. It includes a red alert sound that says "We are the Borg, you will be assimilated, resistance is futile" and 2 backgound sounds (I like to give people options) so you can truly feel like you're part of the collective. I named these files for GORN ships, but you can always re-name them if you put your Borg ships in another SFC race.
      3. Replaces some of the lame-o beeps and whirs that come with SFC with TNG-style beeps and whirs.

      tony-sounds.zip 2.5Mb Andromedan Commander

From Email: I have made some recordings of the male computer voice from Star Trek The Motion Picture as well as various other bits from Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan. I think they turned out pretty cool.

      File Size Author
      speech3.zip 2.2Mb Spock

From Email: Later I will work on a multiple message speech randomize program to add a varied unpredictable variety to events in game. It is important to keep these three files together when downloaded since they do interact in a unique way to get that nice polished sound coming together.

      File Size Author
      speech2.zip 2.6Mb Spock

From Email: Adds more speech and the crew talks back! This one is the second of total of three all together with the first one made a few weeks ago. The three speech.zip files comprise the finished product to date. Later I am working on a sound randomizer to add even more messages instead of hearing the same one for a given event. All together there is speech, speech2, and speech3.zip files.

      Explo5a.zip 300k UD Doug

From Email: The normal explosion sound effect is replaced with the sound effect of the Enterprise destruction in Star Trek III.

      speech.zip 2.6Mb Spock

From Email: The atttach zip file to this e-mail has the original computer voice speech added to other modified files to really give SFC that exciting realistic sound/speech experience. The real TOS computer voice speech combines with other modified files in a logical random way that will sound like a real battle right off television! It sounds best at a slower speed, but not a must. Multiple sounds will fade in/out to match speed of game quit nicely.

      Mldisc2.zip 338k Reign1701A

From Email: Here I have a couple of replacement sound effects for SFC. They include a new phaser 1 (TNG-ish, from newships soundpack), phaser 2(from Voyager), phaser 4(from First Contact, this is the best of all the sounds), transporter (from Voyager), 2 photon sounds(one from ST TMP and one from TNG's Encounter at Farpoint), missile firing (newships soundpack), and finally a bridge sound from the TOS to replace the soft rumble of the engines in the background.

      PhaserSound.zip 63k Lansing

From Email: With the new Next Gen mods being out there from SFBtoSFC, here are some phaser sounds to go with them, read the text file in the zip for more explaination! Happy Phasering!

      MySFCSounds_revA.zip 386k Glenn Sensiba

From Email: These are some sounds I came gathered, they replace the Ph1, Ph2, Phot1, Fed Red Alert, Fed Yel Alert and Hydran Yel Alert. Ph1 is from TOS, Ph2 is from ST:V, Phot1 is from DS9, Fed YA is from STII:TWOK, Fed RA is from STVI:TUC and Hyd YA is a mix I made from an alert in ST:V, hope you like 'em.

      sound.zip 1.8Mb Michael Callahan

From Hello.doc: Hello! Try these sound files in replacement of the ones in your assets/sounds folder. Remember to make back-ups of the originals in another folder in case you want to switch back!! This is for TOS fans, as at the moment, but I am working on other options!

      SFC_Sound_v1.0.zip 405k Andrew Allen

From Readme.txt: The following files are an addon for the fed photon and phaser.

      File Size Author
      PTDisc1.wav 30k Brian Moler

From Readme.txt: The following files are an addon for the fed photon and phaser.

      tosdisruptor.zip 126k Unknown

From Email: This is the original series disruptor sound effect.

      File Size Author
      SFCsounds.zip 474k Aszurom

From Email: These are definitely NOT cheap remixed sounds from the series/movies. They are reworks of some sounds in the game, a new photon/probe sound, heavily (!) remixed disrupor and plasma sounds. The people I've given them to say they can't stand to play the game without them now, so I guess that's a sign?
