Let no one say Rhino doesn't know what the fans want. Mere months after it got released on video, the company's announced Transformers: The Movie for DVD. Not only will fans get to see Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Unicron duke it out with the clarity only available in digital video, but it'll also be vastly improved. Some of the things in the works:

• Previously deleted footage
• Retouched footage
• Remixed soundtrack
• Special features (Transformer profiles, anyone?)

Expect it in late fall, after the G.I. Joe Movie DVD and new Transformers and G.I. Joe tapes get released.

What other old cartoons would you like to see on DVD? Superfriends? Wacky Races? Give us your your two cents. on it, and be sure to check in later for the responses! Got a question? Ask the Bug-Eyed Monster and read its answers here.
