Funny Things in Star Control...
Looking for inconsistencies in games is fun. :) I need your help to find more. It doesn't matter if it is SC1, SC2, or SC3. Send them in! REMEMBER: This is meant to be fun and NOT meant to bash the games by pointing out *problems*.

Star Control 1

• The Spathi ship is called the Discriminator. And after SC1 it is known as the Eluder. (note: someone has mentioned this is because "Discriminator" would not have fit into the ship status screens during melee.)

• In Star Control 1, Ur-Quans are named "Master". In Star Control 2, they are named "Lord".

  ---

• Star control 1 apparently takes place in the 27th century. SC2 takes place a mere 120 years from now. This makes no sense!

• In Sc1 for the Commodore 64 (Which I own!), the alliance and hierarchy both have only 4 ships each:

  ALLIANCE
  Earthling
  Mycon(!)
  Yehat
  Chenjesu
  

  HIERARCHY
  Ilwrath
  Umgah
  Ur-Quan
  Androsynth
  

  So, just to let you know, obviously the Mycon switched teams from one Star Control 1 version to the other...
