    Voice Cards
  1. Where can I find FREE Voice Cards on the Blue Mountain site?
We currently have two providers for our Voice Cards:

Evoke provides Voice Messaging for the Hi, Birthday, Cake & Balloons, Wacky Birthday, Over the Hill, and Interactive Birthday cards, as well as some seasonal cards. Evoke Voice Messaging is FREE if you are calling from the United States or Canada (Outside of the United States or Canada, your phone company will charge you for an international long distance call). Your recipient will need a RealPlayer sound plug-in in order to hear your Voice Message. This plug-in is available for FREE at: www.real.com.
The FREE version of RealPlayer is located in the top center of the page in the gray box.

Ureach provides Voice Messaging for the Have a Nice Day, Thinking of You, College, Professions, and Belated Birthday cards. Ureach Voice Messaging is FREE if you are calling from the United States (Outside of the United States, your phone company will charge you for an international long distance call). Ureach cards are sent as ".wav" files, so no plug-ins are needed to listen to these messages.

  2. How do I send a Voice Card?
Voice Messaging is available in the following card categories: Hi , Birthday, Cake & Balloons, Wacky Birthday, Over the Hill, Interactive Birthday, Belated Birthday, Have a Nice Day, Thinking of You, College, Professions.

Select a card from one of these categories. Fill out your card, and make sure there is a check in the "add your own Voice Message" box, located above the "Preview" button. Then click "Preview", and then click "Send".

On the "Success!" page, click on the white box that says "CLICK HERE to attach your FREE voice message!"

You will see an instructions page with a toll-free number and your private message ID. (If you are calling from outside the United States, your phone company will charge you for an international long-distance call. Please note that neither Evoke, Ureach, nor Blue Mountain is responsible for this long-distance charge.)

Immediately after sending your card, dial the phone number provided and enter your private message ID, followed by the # sign. You will be guided by a pre-recorded message. After the tone, leave your message (up to 30 seconds) and then hang up. You must make this call immediately (within 10 minutes) or your message ID will expire.

That's it! Your message will become part of the card you just sent!

Please note: some users may need to get offline after creating the card in order to make the Voice Message phone call. Be sure to write down the toll-free number and private message ID correctly before getting offline.

  3. Where can I find the toll-free number and message ID?
Immediately after you send the card, you will see a white box on the "Success!" page that reads "CLICK HERE to attach your FREE voice message!"

Click on this link to get your toll-free number and private message ID.

We're sorry, but if you do not know your message ID, we at Blue Mountain are unable to provide it to you.

  4. How do I pick up my Voice Message?
After viewing your card, scroll down toward the bottom to the image that says "You've got Voice Mail!" or "Your friend has sent you a voice message!". If you are sure you received a Voice Message but you do not see the image, hit "Reload" or "Refresh" in your browser.

Click on the Voice Message image. After a few seconds, you will hear your Voice Message!

If you click on the box, but are unable to hear your Voice Message, you may need to download a RealPlayer plug-in. This plug-in is available for FREE at: www.real.com.
The FREE version of RealPlayer is located in the top center of the page in the gray box.

WebTV users: We're sorry, but WebTV users will not be able to hear the Voice Message on cards that were sent using Evoke. The required RealPlayer download is unavailable to WebTV users.
