Today's N-Query covers Gaiden delays, Emperor of the Jungle, Spaceworld, PS2, Dolphin and Jet Force Gemini.
Delays.
It's inevitable for both Perfect Dark and Zelda Gaiden to be delayed, but
which one do you think will be delayed till Christmas? Will it be Perfect
Dark? Not likely since it's hardly a "family" game. Zelda? Sure if Nintendo
wants to repeat it's '98 flagship game. I can't see it be Twelve Tails or
Banjo Tooie. What do you think? And don't be silly saying it'll be the new
Mario for the Dolphin because we all know that that aint coming out for a
while.

I don't think it'll be Perfect Dark as the game has already been delayed far too much. Gaiden is likely to slip back a few months. Depending on how complete the game really is, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we saw it for the holiday. As far as Banjo-Tooie and Conker go, I won't even venture a guess until Rare gives us a bit more to chew on.
Dolphin: 2001.

The Game "Emperor of the Jungle" -- what happened to it? Is it Cancelled?
Abducted by Aliens from Disney? Only on 64DD? Or moved to Project "Dolphin"?
Canned. Miyamoto and the designer could not coordinate a proper schedule to develop the game.

With the news the a demo of the Dolphin will be available at Spaceworld
00 in August, doesn't that make a launch in the Fall almost impossible?
Realistically how far behind is Nintendo from the PS2 and when do you expect
the Dolphin to launch? My gerbil says hi.
Historically, no console has ever launched only months after its official unveiling and I doubt we'll see this happen with Dolphin. Nintendo would have us believe that its next-generation console will be displayed for the first time ever to the public in August 2000 and then launch three months later. I just don't buy it.
The console is roughly three-to-six months behind PS2, as I know it, and though Nintendo is still saying fall 2000 for Launch, I think 2001 is much more likely -- realistically speaking, that is.
Olympians.
Have you heard anything more on Young Olympians? Last time you reported on the game, it sounded like it had a lot of potential.
When we first reported on Saffire's Young Olympians, the game was only in conceptual stages. Since then I've learned that it is actively under development, but we've still got no concrete gameplay screens or videos. I imagine we'll see first shots (and come into a lot more details) early next year.

How likely is it that Excitebike 64 will be released on time this
December? Do you think it's close enough to completion that it will be out in 6 weeks?

Hey
On that letter on the gold cd making the quality better, what did you mean
by the limited edition zelda cartridge having longer gameplay. I have the LE
version and what is so different. I didn't notice anything because i was so
deep in the game. Whats the difference in the gold than the grey?

I was joking. There is no difference between the two versions. Except, of course, for the fact that those who got a limited edition gold cartridge are better than the unlucky gray-owning outcasts.

I am at Mizars palace with juno and vela, and working on getting lupus there.
I just wanted to know roughly how far am i into the game and how much farther
do i have to go? Keep in mind i have to go back and collect all the tribals.
