To address this need, Sun has developed the JavaHelp API and a reference implementation completely written in the Java programming language. The JavaHelp technology will enable developers to deliver platform independent, extensible help systems for Java components, networked and standalone applications, desktops, and HTML pages. This session will provide a comprehensive overview of the JavaHelp technology. Developers will learn about the specification, including the API, file formats, and applets, and see a demonstration of the JavaHelp reference implementation using the Java Foundation Classes technology. The roadmap and available resources will also be covered to help get you started using the JavaHelp technology.
