Abstract: The Project Java Activator software allows Java platform users to run the latest Sun Microsystems virtual machine inside of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. This allows corporate developers to safely develop intranet applets that use the latest Java platform technology. This talk will explain how the Project Java Activator software works in both Microsoft Internet Explorer and in Netscape Navigator. Plus we will discuss how to convert your web pages to specify the Project Java Activator software, how to configure a web server to deliver the Project Java Activator software to your users, and how to use signed applets for securely distributing applets through the Project Java Activator software.
